Roaster Notes: Kiandu is a wash station near the Kagumo River in Kenya’s Central Highlands. The Central Highlands is an area situated between Kenya’s highest mountain, Mount Kenya, and the Aberdare Range which forms part of the eastern edge of the Great Rift Valley. The station processes coffee with water diverted from the nearby river. The outstanding quality of this coffee, and the outstanding quality potential of Kenya coffee as an origin, is due in large part to the very fertile volcanic soil, high elevations, and second to none processing standards. This AB separation boasts some floral qualities not typical of Kenya coffee.
